Oles Morrison attorney, Howard Roth, delves into contract appeals topics applicable to Alaska state ship repair and maritime contracts in the Spring 2015 edition of the AGC Alaska Contractor Magazine. The article, “Contract appeals: How to get an experienced construction law arbitrator or hearing officer,” outlines the relevant steps a contractor should take to obtain an adjudicator experienced in construction law.

Howard has 25 years of government contract law experience, with extensive experience representing businesses, P&I Clubs and underwriters engaged in maritime business, heavy marine construction, and ship repair matters. Howard represents clients on a broad range of government contracts and related litigation matters, including bid protests, contract disputes, claims preparation and litigation.

Prior to joining Oles Morrison, Howard served as Deputy General Counsel for a major military command, a trial team chief in the Army’s Contract Appeals Division, and Commissioner for the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals.
