Howard W. Roth to Present on Federal Contract “Compliance Hot Topics”

Howard Roth, Of Counsel with Oles Morrison, will present, “Compliance Hot Topics: Small Business Subcontracting Plans and Representations and Certifications,” at the Columbia Basin chapter of the National Contract Management Association’s (NCMA) monthly educational seminar on April 23, 2015.

The presentation is designed for industry professionals and will keep them abreast of significant developments in small business subcontracting plans, including updates on penalties and plan requirements. Also covered are current developments in representations and certifications affecting both company compliance plans and agency contracting officer’s oversight responsibilities.

Howard has 25 years of government contract law experience. He advises contractors on how to win contracts and resolve disputes. Howard represents clients on a broad range of government contracts and related litigation matters, including bid protests, contract disputes, claims preparation and litigation, rights in technical data, internal investigations and audits, as well as maritime contract and ship repair matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Howard served as Deputy Staff Judge Advocate for a seven state Army Support Command. He also served as a trial team chief in the Army’s Contract Appeals Division and Commissioner at the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals.

The event will take place at the Anthology Event Center in Richland, Washington from 11:30am to 1:00pm.
