James Nagle Offered Keynote Address at the 2013 Alliance Northwest Conference on Federal Contracts

Noted federal contract law expert James Nagle, a senior partner at Oles Morrison, was the keynote speaker at the 2013 Alliance Northwest Conference held on March 14, 2013. Nagle provided a thorough review of major statutory, regulatory, case law and other developments in federal contracts to an audience of more than 600 attendees.

The one-day Conference is the premier government-to-business networking event of the year in the Pacific Northwest and annual draws many representatives of government agencies, prime contractors and small businesses.

The Conference was coordinated by the Thurston Economic Development Council, in partnership with Washington PTAC, federal agencies and prime contractors to provide businesses opportunities to connect with government buyers and prime contractors.

Nagle is nationally renowned for his expertise in federal contracting, particularly in the area of construction law. He has extensive experience including working with supply, services, international, major systems and construction contracts.

He has represented owners, contractors, subcontractors, sureties, architects, engineers and all parties in the contracting process. His local and national reputation is such that both the government and contractors have used him as a consultant, expert witness or arbitrator/mediator.

Prior to joining the firm, Nagle served as chief of the Logistics and Contract Law Branch of the Department of the Army staff.  He also served as a trial team chief in the Army’s Contract Appeals Division.

Nagle has been recognized as a Washington Super Lawyer every year since 2007.
