Master Builders Association Housing Center, 335 116th Ave. SE, Bellevue, Washington
Building on the success of last year's conference, the Professional Women in Building (PWiB) Council is excited to again offer you the opportunity to participate in the most fun event of the year for women builders and entrepreneurs!
Our conference program will feature a "marketplace" for networking and exchanging ideas with local businesses; a luncheon with keynote speaker Melody Biringer, the fabulous founder of CRAVE; three break-out sessions focusing on sharpening your business and professional edge; and, of course, a reception to toast our first annual Sandy McAdams Leadership Award nominees.
This year's theme is "Pushing the Envelope." Women are pushing the envelope as business owners, career professionals and savvy consumers. We celebrate these contributions and hope to expand even further. PWiB's goal is to open up new pathways to all women, lead charitable projects, offer educational opportunities and provide mentoring as professional role models.
Keynote Speaker: Melody Biringer
Melody Biringer, a self-avowed "start-up junkie," has built companies that range from a family-run, specialty food business (Biringer Farm), to home furnishings, to a fitness studio. Now, Melody runs the CRAVEcompany, a network of businesses designed to creatively connect entrepreneurs who approach business in a fresh, new way with the stylish consumers they desire.
