John is an in-house accounting consultant and claims specialist. He assists the attorneys and their clients in both Washington and Alaska in a wide variety of financial areas. His areas of expertise include claim damage calculations and analysis, Federal and State cost regulations, assistance with audits by owners and government agencies, equipment pricing issues and business impact damages. Before joining the firm in 1989, John was the Chief Financial Officer of a Seattle contractor for six years. He spent ten years as an auditor in public accounting prior to joining the construction industry. He was licensed to practice public accounting in Texas in 1972, and transferred his certification to Washington in 1977.
