Representative Projects

  • Public Museum, Eastern Washington:  Developed claims for general contractor and steel supplier, and coordinated claim overviews with six additional subcontractors.  All eight firms filed claims for inefficiencies and disruptions caused by errors and omissions in the contract documents.  All claims were settled at mediation.
  • Seattle Public Library:  Developed claims for the electrical contractor that stemmed from impacts caused by late and re-sequenced predecessor activities.  The electrical subcontractor recovered the highest percentage return of the multiple contractor firms that attended a two day mediation.
  • Federal Design-Build:  Prepared claims for an international contractor who contracted to design build facilities at 10 military bases spread across the United States.  One contract, but required separate claims for each base.  Documents were scattered over 12 States, increasing the challenge.
  • Commercial Warehouse Development:  Oles Morrison represented one partner in an LLC, who charged another partner with fraud and improper distribution of funds.  The matter languished at another law firm for a year before coming to Oles Morrison.  Bob found key evidence of previously undiscovered impropriety that opened the door to a larger investigation and recovery for the Oles client.
