Oles Morrison and Women Leaders in Construction Celebrate Women in Construction Week

Please join the women of Oles Morrison on Thursday, March 5th as we celebrate Women in Construction Week. Women Leaders in Construction (WLIC) will co-host the event with NAWIC to celebrate the shared support of our local professional organizations including Working Women in Trade and Sawhorse Revolution.

The event is sponsored in part by Johnson Barrow, Kane Environmental, Prime Electric, Sellen Construction and Swinerton, and, will take place from 4:00-6:00pm at OAC Services.

About Women Leaders in Construction

Founded in 2012 by a team of female attorneys at Oles Morrison, Women Leaders in Construction (WLIC) brings together women who work in all sectors of the construction industry. It provides a platform for networking and professional development in what is often a male-dominated field. Participation has grown to more than 400 women from several states along the West Coast, as well as 110 firms. As the first of its kind in the region, WLIC provides opportunities throughout the year for networking and education, including an online network to share resources and stay connected. The group also engages in philanthropy partnering with Construction for Change, a local non-profit organization who helps build infrastructures for other non-profits around the world.
