Adam Lasky to Present at the NCMA Portland/Vancouver Meeting

Wed Sep 16, 2015

Oles Morrison partner, Adam Lasky, will present at the NCMA Portland/Vancouver Chapter Meeting on September 17, 2015 at the Multnomah Athletic Club. His presentation, “Small Businesses – Large Business Partnerships: Tips for Avoiding ‘Affiliation,’” will explore ways small businesses can take advantage of the benefits inherent to partnering with large businesses, including leveraging their resources and past experience, without losing their small business status nor set aside contract awards. He also will cover ways large businesses can partner with a small business to win set aside contracts.

Oles Morrison attorney, Alix Town, is the NCMA Portland/Vancouver Chapter President and is coordinating this event.

Adam’s legal practice concentrates on a wide variety of Government Contracts and Construction Law issues. He has successfully helped dozens of clients win government contracts. Adam also has extensive experience litigating bid protests, and he has prevailed in protests before agencies, the U.S. GAO and the Court of Federal Claims. Adam regularly advises clients on how to make their proposals more competitive for contract awards.

Alix’s practice focuses on government contracts. She represents clients on a broad range of government contracts and related litigation matters. Prior to joining Oles Morrison, Alix served as an intern with the Air Force General Counsel’s Office, where she assisted in suspension and debarment matters as well as general acquisition law. During that time, she handled numerous suspension and debarment cases, thus developing a deep understanding of ethics and compliance issues.
