Melia Preedy to Co-Present on Ethical Issues in Bankruptcy

Oles Morrison Attorney Melia Preedy, will co-present, “Ethical Issues in Bankruptcy,” at the King County Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Law Section Meeting on January 12, 2016 at Noon. The presentation will cover common ethical issues arising in bankruptcy cases, an analysis of applicable RPC’s, sources of authority for imposing sanctions and sanctionable conduct.

Melia is a member of Oles Morrison’s Creditor-Debtor & Bankruptcy practice group. Her practice focuses primarily on construction law, commercial litigation, and representing creditors and debtors in litigation, debt and insolvency proceedings. She graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 2014. Prior to law school, Ms. Preedy worked in the construction industry drafting proposals for state and federal contracts.

The presentation is eligible for 1.00 Ethics CLE Credit. The event will be offered in person at the King County Bar Association offices (1200 Fifth Ave, Suite 700, Seattle, WA) as well as via an internet video stream for KCBA Bankruptcy Law Section members. Section members are not required to register or RSVP for this event.
