Oles Morrison and Clark Construction to host Women Leaders in Construction at their annual spring event

The women of Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker in conjunction with the women of Clark Construction’s Seattle office will host Women Leaders in Construction’s (WLIC) Spring Social on March 29.  The networking event is expected to draw a crowd of over 100 women in construction and related fields. Food for the event will be provided by Project Feast, a nonprofit program that helps refugees and immigrants acclimate to local culture and provides them with pathways to sustainable employment in the food industry.

Founded in 2012 by a team of female attorneys at Oles Morrison, Women Leaders in Construction (WLIC) brings together women who work in all sectors of the construction industry. It provides a platform for networking and professional development in what is often a male-dominated field. Membership has grown to more than 400 women from several states along the West Coast, as well as 110 firms. As the first of its kind in the region, WLIC provides opportunities throughout the year for networking and education, including an online network to share resources and stay connected.
