Oles Morrison Expands its California Litigation Department with Addition of Bryce Carroll

Thu Oct 19, 2017

Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker LLP expanded its California Litigation Department with the addition of construction litigation attorney, Bryce Carroll, as a partner in its Oakland office.

With nearly two decades practicing construction law, Carroll has worked for some of the region’s most notable owners, contractors and subcontractors to obtain successful resolutions to their most important business issues. Carroll successfully recovered, on behalf of an owner, more than $5 million in damages and attorney’s fees following a four-week jury trial involving indemnity issues relating to the construction of underground utilities at four residential subdivisions in the California Central Valley. He also assisted a Fortune 100 homebuilder in recovering in excess of $10 million from a subcontractor for warranty and repair work due to defective construction.

Carroll earned his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in environmental conservation and political science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.  At the University of San Francisco, he was the contributing editor of the U.S.F. Maritime Law Journal.

The addition of Carroll expands Oles Morrison’s already skilled California litigation team. He joins partners Rob Leslie and Kevin McCarthy. “Carroll’s litigation and construction law experience complement the high stakes work which Oles Morrison is known for and expands the firm’s robust talent in our growing California office,” said Angelia Wesch, Oles Morrison’s managing partner.
