Wed Jul 17, 2019
Robert Leslie, partner in the Oakland office of Oles Morrison, was selected to the 2019 Northern California Super Lawyers list. The annually published Super Lawyers list, based on peer recognition, recognizes the top 5 percent of attorneys for their professional achievement. This is the nineteenth year Robert has appeared on the list. For more than 35 years, Rob has been providing legal counsel and resolving issues and disputes for his clients involved in large and complex heavy civil construction projects. His practice focuses on construction and government contracts and includes all aspects of public and private construction, including: highways, concrete and steel bridges, water and wastewater treatment plants, earth and rock fill dams, shafts, tunnels, railways, airfields, schools, public buildings, and pipelines.
In addition to Rob, Rebecca Takacs was selected to the Northern California Rising Stars list. Rising Stars recognizes only the top 2.5 percent of lawyers who either are under the age of 40 or have practiced for 10 years or less. Rebecca is a respected litigation attorney focusing her practice on commercial litigation, construction, and construction defect defense. Prior to joining Oles Morrison, Rebecca was an associate at Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young where her practice focused on the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) litigation, white-collar criminal defense, and commercial litigation matters in federal court. Prior to entering private practice, Rebecca served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office and first chaired six trials to verdict. She has participated in all phases of litigation including legal research, discovery, motion practice, oral argument in hearings, trial preparation, and trial.
In June, Super Lawyers recognized ten attorneys in Oles Morrison’s Seattle office.
