Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker Promotes Three Attorneys and Adds Two Associates

Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker LLP, is pleased to announce three promotions effective Jan. 1, 2020. David Y. Yang will become an equity partner; Howard W. Roth has become partner after joining the firm as of counsel; and Ashley J. Sherwood will become partner.
Established in 1893, Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker LLP provides legal counsel to public and private companies throughout the nation and internationally in all phases of construction and government contracting, with offices located in Alaska, California and Washington.
David Yang, regularly advises government contractors navigating all aspects of the federal, state, and local marketplace. regularly advises clients on all critical facets of their business, whether the issues involve audits, cost accounting, bid protests, claims, compliance, intellectual property, prime-subcontractor issues, small business matters, or litigation and other disputes. Prior to joining Oles Morrison, Dave was a partner of an AmLaw 100 firm in Washington, D.C.
Howard Roth, a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps, has over 27 years of experience handling federal procurement matters. He is a knowledgeable advisor in all stages of federal contract law and litigation, including terminations, procurement disputes, protests, procurement integrity, rights in technical data, internal investigations, and contract cost issues. Howard also has vast experience in the maritime industry, handling matters on projects for the U.S. Maritime Administration, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, NOAA, and U.S. Army.
Ashley Sherwood, represents general contractors, subcontractors and developers of all sizes on complex private and public construction projects at the state and federal level, as well as internationally. Clients look to Ashley for counsel on an array of construction matters, including: heavy civil infrastructure, steel fabrication, commercial and residential buildings, and government construction and services contracts. Ashley also serves at the 2020 President of CREW Seattle.
