Oles Morrison Lawyers Contribute to the 2011 Aspen Construction Law Update

Aspen Publishing has recently released its annual Construction Law Update for 2011, which for the tenth consecutive year includes a section authored by members of the Seattle-based law firm Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker, LLP. The Construction Law Update is designed to provide an broad overview of topics of immediate interest to contractors and lawyers, and this year features sections on Integrated Project Delivery and the prospects for continued construction opportunity in the Middle East.
Oles Morrison lawyers again contributed a chapter covering recent developments in construction-related legislation and caselaw in the “Northwest Region,” consisting of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska. The Northwest Region section, edited by OMRB partners Jim Nagle and Todd Henry, explored among other topics the significant developments the Northwest jurisdictions have recently adopted regarding construction liens, and alternate public works delivery methods. Contributing authors to the Northwest Region section were OMRB partner Jon DeMella, and associates Meghan Douris, Ann Marie Tavella, Adam Lasky, David Duffy, Jessy Vasquez, Meredith Thielbahr and Allison Pehl.
