Women Leaders in Construction Celebrates Earth Day

Women Leaders in Construction, an organization founded and led by the women attorneys of Oles Morrison, is pleased to host an Earth Day Celebration at the Bullitt Center, the World’s Greenest Building, in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. The event is co-hosted by the women of PAE and Engineers Without Borders and will take place on April 21, 2016.

Engineers from PAE and Engineers Without Borders will share their experiences working on the Mt. Everest Biogas Project, a local effort to convert hazardous human waste from the base camp of Mt. Everest into environmentally safe products for the people of Nepal.

Casey Schuchart, Vice President of Schuchart and Project Executive for the construction of the Bullitt Center, will also talk about what makes the Bullitt Center the World’s Greenest Building. This short program will be followed by guided tours of the Bullitt Center, along with a networking social.

Women Leaders in Construction provides women from all sectors of the construction industry with a platform for networking and professional development. The group was founded in 2012 by the women attorneys at Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker, a construction litigation firm, with the intent of leveraging the diverse perspectives and experience women bring to the field.
