Angelia Wesch and Craig Rusk to present in Anchorage

Oles Morrison Partners, Angelia Wesch and Craig Rusk, will present on the topics of Failures of Risk Management in Construction and Mysteries of Builder’s Risk at a seminar the firm is co-presenting with Parker Smith & Feek on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the JL Tower Conference Center in Anchorage, Alaska. The seminar kicks off at 8:00am with breakfast and the presentations run from 8:30am – Noon.

Craig’s presentation will cover case studies on the failures of risk management in construction, examining why risk management is so difficult and providing a useful framework on mitigating risk. Lynne Seville and Guy Armfield of Parker Smith & Feek will co-present on this topic.

Angelia’s presentation demystifies builder’s risk, delving into the intricacies of builder’s risk policies, including exclusions, extensions of coverage, coverage for lost profits, and costs of mitigating damages. Ed Chapin of Parker Smith & Feek will co-present with Angelia.

Craig’s practice focuses on representation of clients involved in complex commercial enterprises, primarily construction and government procurement. He represents clients in all phases of their projects, from contract negotiation to dispute resolution.

Angelia represents real estate developers, condominium associations, property management firms and construction clients. Her insurance coverage practice includes extensive experience resolving first and third party insurance coverage disputes and litigating complex construction defect claims.
